As the owner and publisher of Gulf Breeze News and Splash! Magazine since 2001, I've witnessed drastic changes in our area. After 3 decades of Republican leadership, we are experiencing skyrocketing homeowner's insurance rates (4x the national average), the lowest teacher pay in the entire U.S., and our precious environments and waterways are imperiled while elitist lawmakers take money from polluters and deny the effects of climate change. I am fed up with the way the extremist Republican legislature has been running this state for the last 30 years! I am ready to get the message out: voters have a CHOICE this election!
